‎According to the statement, CP directed all Area Commanders, DPOs, and HODs to immediately review and release suspects held for minor, bailable offences upon proper documentation and surety verification.

‎CP Adewale emphasized that bail is free, and any officer found collecting money for bail or documentation will face strict disciplinary action.

‎He reiterated that the police must not intervene in civil matters, particularly land-related disputes, which lie outside their jurisdiction.
